Pick a category and an area. Your entry amount counts as your opening boost, so a bigger entry starts you higher on the board. Approved entries appear on the leaderboard right away.

Fans boost from $2
Anyone can back a business they like. Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card. No account and no long form. Every boost moves that business up the board immediately.

First place wins a mailer of their own
The #1 business on the board when the month closes gets up to 750 postcards mailed to the EDDM route of their choice, roughly a $500 value. Second place takes $100 off a spot on a Lowcountry Business Spotlight card, third takes $50 off. Those are credit against standard placement pricing, not cash. The cards mail within 30 days of the month closing, and a business can win as often as it earns it.

Three ways to be seen
Overall champion is total dollars boosted. Category champion is the most unique supporters, so one fan sending repeat $2 payments cannot buy a category. People's choice is engagement: verified taps on a business profile.

Every competition runs on a calendar month and closes automatically. The countdown on the homepage is the real deadline.

Every month, the top three on the board win. Finish #1 and your business gets its own mailer: up to 750 postcards sent to the neighborhood you pick. Second and third take credit off standard placement pricing on a Lowcountry Business Spotlight card.

Prizes are awarded in any month the board reaches $400 in entries and boosts, and you can win as often as you like. The winner's cards mail within 30 days of the month closing; route up to 750 homes, larger routes available at cost. Credits apply against standard Lowcountry Business Spotlight placement pricing and expire 90 days after the month closes.
About the postcard
The winner's mailer is a Lowcountry Business Spotlight production, and the cards are a product you can buy without winning anything. Finishing on the podium earns a head start; it is not the only way onto a card.
